Have you ever been called a narcissist or arrogant or told “you’ve changed” by the people around you, your family or friends you grew up with?
I have. A lot.
I’ve been called arrogant, a sociopath, an asshole, pretty much everything along those lines but never by anybody who is where I want to be.
I was listening to a podcast this morning and it made me think about what it was like when I first started to improve my life.
Narcissism is the buzzword of losers.
If you really think about it, people throw the word around have low, or no self confidence, haven’t done anything and probably never will.
You are surrounded by anchors holding you back and slowing your progress.
If you want to move forward, you have to cut the anchors and surround yourself with people who move you towards your goal.
Cliché - you are the sum of the five people you spend the most time around…
Do you have to do whatever it takes to get in the presence of people doing big things and the first thing you have to do is get rid of the fucking losers in your life.
Now you have to surround yourself with better people.
How do you do that?
The easiest way is pay to play. Join a mastermind. If that’s out of the question, start hanging out in places where you see people living the life that you want to live.
The second one will take more time, but it’s always a time versus money situation with personal growth.
When you get moved into this circle, you will be amazed how fast you can live the life you dreamed about.
Better health, more wealth, and you wake up every morning ready to go instead of hitting snooze to avoid the anchors holding you back.
This will lift you up in EVERY area of your life.
